These darling Fair Trade, Handcrafted toy Howler monkey scarves are sold to support the Capuchin monkeys being saved from eradication, as a result of  both deforestation and pesticide usage.  
The monkeys are saved and taken to The Eco SantaFe Rehabilitation Centre, where they live out their lives in safety, humanely, and with love.
Columbian women in the impoverished country work for fair wages and create these adorable toy replicas by hand in order to raise monies to keep the rehab centre operational while  providing for their own families.  Win-win
