PSA: The More You Know
I'm not anti-medicine, and in fact I'm pro-science, however, when we use and consume chemicals in our homes, our gardens, on our bodies and in the food we eat daily, our bodies become ill and viruses, germs and disease thrive, often mutating and becoming resistant to treatment.
Our bodies are naturally equipped to heal (for the most part), without the use of commercial medicines. We just have to do our part, by limiting or eradicating the use of chemically laden products.
Sadly, the same huge corporations that supply our food/household products, also own the pesticide/chemical/pharma companies. They're basically poisoning our food sources with chemicals, selling us the food to consume until we're sick, AND then manufacturing the medicine we require to feel better. It's a double edged sword, and sadly all in the name of greed/big profits.

Read that again...Each of their food ingredients are made to enhance the texture of food, help preserve food longer, and/or make food healthier (ha, ha, ha) for the consumer. This is one of the worlds largest 'chemical' companies, chemicals that make us, and this Earth sick.
The Performance Chemicals (17 percent of sales) segment produces chemicals and materials for water purification, pharmaceuticals, paper coatings, paints and advanced electronics. You see what I'm trying to get at here?
P.S. I wrote this as a facebook post a few weeks ago. This weekend as I was flipping through channels, I came across a very interesting movie called Dark Waters with Mark Ruffalo. It's based on a true story, about DuPont, and is both tragic and eye opening. I highly recommend you watch it. It can be found on YouTube and Prime.
