Have you ever heard of Propylene Glycol? It's a petroleum by-product based antifreeze I use to winterize my trailer plumbing. Even under extremely cold weather, this chemical doesn't allow any residual water that may have been left in the plumbing to freeze, thereby protecting my pipes from bursting!
Do you know that Propylene Glycol is also used in the majority of deodorants and antiperspirants we buy and slather under our arms, as well as a majority of lotions and makeup on the market??? It keeps the deodorant slick. It's also been linked to heart damage, liver damage and damage to our central nervous system 😮
Store bought deodorants may also be loaded with aluminum (breast cancer and alzheimers), phthalates (Phthalates, a family of industrial chemicals used to soften PVC plastic and as solvents in cosmetics and other consumer products, can damage the liver, kidneys, lungs, and reproductive system — particularly the developing testes) and a ton of other chemicals 😥
Propylene Glycol is also what the majority of folks having colonoscopies must drink prior to their procedures! Yuck
My son developed cancer in his late teens/early 20's (lost his leg) and I've often wondered what impact, if any, this crap may have played, as he used toxic deodorants/body washes/shampoo morning and night. I'm not blaming any of the manufacturers, it's just something that makes you wonder 🤔 I encourage you to read the labels and think twice about what you're applying to both your and your children's bodies and consider alternatives to the chemically laden products you're using now. These large companies use these chemicals because they're cheap fillers in their products. Cheap ingredients mean higher profit for the exec's and big yearly bonuses.
