Frankincense is one of more than 90 types of essential oils that are popularly used in aromatherapy. Essential oils are made from petals, roots, peels, and bark of flowers, herbs, and trees. Where does frankincense come from?


Also known as olibanum, frankincense comes from trees in the Boswellia family. Frankincense oil is prepared by the steam distillation of gum resin from the Boswellia tree. Boswellia trees are native to Oman and Yemen in the Arabian Peninsula, as well as Somalia in northeastern Africa.

Glowing Face Recipe 🔥


Using a good quality jojoba oil or castor oil (or a 50/50 combo of both), for every 15ml of carrier oil, combine 5 drops of frankincense essential oil and shake well.


Apply 3-5 drops of this oil combination to clean, dry face and tap gently from forehead to cheek to chin. Gently rub in, in a circular fashion, avoiding eyes and mouth. Once fully absorbed, you're ready to go.


This can be used under make-up or subsequently at night before bed. Apply daily. Within a week or 2, you should notice a marked difference in skin texture and glow.
